Fluffy, golden and gently spiced, these Tiger Purrr Chai Pancakes are pure morning indulgence – topped with figs, berries and a drizzle of maple syrup for the ultimate breakfast treat.

Tiger Purrr Chai Pancakes

INGREDIENTS

1.5 cups Tiger Purrr Cooking Chai *see recipe*
1.5 cups flour
3 ½ tsp baking powder
1 tbl sugar
Pinch salt
3 tbl melted butter
1 egg

METHOD

  1. Combine wet and dry ingredients in separate bowls
  2. Mix wet and dry together until just combined
  3. Heat butter in a frying pan and add batter
  4. Flip when bubbles on the top start to slowly fill in

Add maple syrup and fresh fruit

Tiger Purrr Cooking Chai

INGREDIENTS 

1.5 cup milk
¼ Tiger Purrr Chai Original
2tsp vanilla essence or a dollop of vanilla bean paste

METHOD

  1. Add milk and chai in a saucepan. Heat milk until bubbles start to form.
  2. Turn off heat and allow chai to steep for 5 minutes. 
  3. Strain out tea leaves.
  4. Let cool.
