The spiritual meaning of drinking tea is that it helps to achieve peace of mind and spiritual well-being whilst maintaining mental and physical balance. Drinking tea is a ritual of purification, an attention to one's soul, an opportunity to stop, reflect and start again.

Traditionally, a tea ceremony will include four principles - harmony, respect, purity and tranquility. Deeply rooted in Zen philosophy, the tea ceremony is a spiritual process aimed at bringing harmony and inner peace to all guests, by allowing them to take a break from the outside world and focus on the simple, transitory moment of introspection and of serving and drinking tea.

Tiger Purrr proposes our own unique style of tea ceremony which leaves all guests feeling inspired and energised, while at the same time, sensing calm, relaxation and peace. The Tiger Purrr Tea Ceremony allows for the greatest significance of all, which is, the bonding between the host and the guests through meditational activity, insight and tranquility. After all, what a tea ceremony is really about is the rite of hospitality, which is the correct translation of the term. At the core of this ritual is the creation of a hospitable occasion - to create an environment in which all guests feel comfortable, calm and at ease. Our founder Pauline Nguyen, an internationally acclaimed keynote speaker and spiritual teacher commences the ceremony with a mini discourse curated to the needs of your guests as directed by you. The insights shared are complemented with a deeply nourishing meditation activation to follow. Our tea ceremony ends with the enjoyment of savouring the goodness of Tiger Purrr Chai which has been shamanically activated, blessed and prepared by Pauline herself.
